Victoria Duffield makes the "Top 6" on YTV's "The Next Star"

In May 2010, Victoria auditioned for the YTV reality singing show called “The Next Star” where 16 contestants from across Canada were selected from over 4000 kids to travel to Toronto to participate in the showcase episode. During this episode, the 16 contestants sang a song for the three judges (Suzy McNeil, Christopher Ward, and Steve Cranwell) and then six contestants were chosen as the “TOP 6” to appear in the following seven episodes of the show. Victoria sang “Naturally” by Selena Gomez and was thrilled to hear her name announced as one of the finalists. Each week she will be performing a new song in front of a live studio audience. And, each week Victoria will be needing votes from the Canadian audience if she is to become “THE NEXT STAR”.

The show will culminate with a live performance at Canada’s Wonderland in Toronto on Sunday, September 26th in front of over 5000 people. Here Victoria will sing and perform a solo and group song with the other 5 finalists, then the winner of “The Next Star” will be announced.
